The Yoddha Fighting Championship (YFC) 2014 tryout was history in the making. The first of the events was held on the 9th of November in Dimapur, Nagaland and the subsequent events were held in Mumbai and Bangalore.* 

It was the first time in India that amateur MMA fighters from Nagaland, Assam and Mumbai were given an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of an audience that has just been introduced to the sport. And the crowd loved it! As the event progressed the audience was in sync with each jab, kick and takedown.
