Don’t expect any less from a band that calls themselves
Frisky Pints. These lads have the energy and the abandon it takes to create a spunky hate song about an unflattering romancee, giving heartbreak and closure a new dimension.
Their single - Vain - exudes the fury and frustration, as well as the liberated sentiment of ‘good riddance’. Their affection entombed within an angst-y boom-box. At its core, the song debunks the notion of a dedicated courting and is an ode to a vain b***h. There is airtime in this song - more spontaneity, more dynamics.
Having met in London, their style is reminiscent of Artic Monkeys and Vampire Weekend. This band of musicians is on an upward trajectory, as testified by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of 2013s best emerging rock act and Pepsi MTV Indies and this year, we look forward to the release of their next album.
