Open Question: Ways to get a roommate of the lease.?

Former roommate has stolen from me, and has signed a confession of it. She has since moved out, but did not remove herself from the lease. She has not responded and refuses to meet with me for the 5 minutes to sign the papers. she is planning on leaving the state, and i need to know what options i have to get her off the lease without her having to sign something. I was told an order of protection due to her theft, I cannot check with the apartment office until monday. she leaves the state on thursday. The apartment and myself are in Arizona, Bottom line, i need her to get off the lease without her having to sign anything, and if i go thru the apartments attorneys they say it will take a minimum of 6 months.
